This prestigious invitational has been an enduring staple of Irish-based holidays & Discovery Students since its introduction in March of 2024.

Please bring athletic attire, a team of friends, a competitive spirit, &  individually packaged nut-free snacks expiring after 8/2/26 to donate to Urban Impact.

Team Sign-ups will take place when you arrive. There is a maximum of five players on the court to start for each team. You’ll have the chance to win glory, honor, and prizes.

Baptism is one of those churchy things where everyone has different experiences and oftentimes none at all! It’s especially confusing when it comes to kids and their questions. So very soon, we’re hosting a baptism class after the Sunday 11 am service in the Kids Venue for families or guardians interested in learning more about baptism—its purpose and power.

Lunch with the Leaders is an opportunity for people who are new(er) to Discovery.

At lunch you will:

• get to know other people who are new

• meet some of Discovery’s leaders

• hear what makes Discovery unique

This Valentine’s, Discovery is offering affordable childcare with a kid-approved meal, snacks, and tons of exciting activities, so you can enjoy your evening worry-free.

Kids (birth-5th grade) will have a blast with a program packed full of games, music, and crafts. While they enjoy the fun, adults can take some time for themselves — go out for dinner, run some errands, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee at a local coffee shop.

Come enjoy a good old fashioned girl's night in the Public Room at Discovery on February 10 from 6-7:30! ALL women are welcome!

Snacks, drinks, games, self-care, and community for women of all ages.

A night designed to help you unwind and refuel. This is the perfect event to invite friends, make new friends and build the community of women around you!

Hang out with all your favorite people, play Christmas games, sing Christmas karaoke, write Christmas card thank you notes, and so much more Christmas fun. Plus, this year, enjoy traditional astronaut Christmas foods. 

We have some deep connections to an awesome group at Mars High School called REVIVE, run entirely by students...including some that call Discovery home! It started as a Bible club and is now a full-blown Student Ministry, serving over 80 students. We like our parties to have a purpose. While we have fun, we're also going to help them out!

You can contribute a $5 suggested donation on this form or at the door. If you want to contribute more, select more $5 donations on the form. You can also buy your way onto the “nice list” with a $25 donation.

One of the most meaningful days of the year is almost here—the Annual Women’s Summit! For this year’s retreat, we’re switching things up with a one-day experience right here at Discovery.

Life moves fast, and it’s easy to run on empty. The Women’s Summit offers space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with God and each other. Through powerful messages, worship, fun activities (like creative Bible journaling), and meaningful conversation over lunch, this day will help you refocus on what truly matters.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, spiritually dry, or just in need of encouragement, this is a day you won’t want to miss. So ask yourself - “do I need a refresh?” If the answer is yes, mark your calendar and make plans to come. ALL women are welcome! Invite your mom, sister, neighbors, and friends.

Fall is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start preparing our mini golf course for the winter season!

Come join the Operations Team on Saturday, September 13th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM as we tackle our annual winterization tasks. Lunch (yes, pizza!) will be provided as a thank-you for your help.

There’s a lot to get done, including:

• Draining and cleaning the ponds

• Sealing and painting cracks

• Repairing leaks

• Adding 140 gallons of antifreeze to the system

• General prep and maintenance tasks

SAVE THE DATE for a special Sunday service at 10:30am, followed by a party to kick off the fall season! After the service, enjoy lunch, the Steelers game on the big screen, and a chance to meet new friends. There will be lots of activities for kiddos too! Discovery Kids is available during the service for birth-5th grade.

Doors open at 10 AM. Families, friends, and neighbors are all welcome.

Help Us Bless Families at Ronald McDonald House
At the Block Party, we’re putting together care packages for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh. You can help make a big impact. Want to be part of the blessing? Check out this Amazon Wishlist and donate a few items before the event. Every contribution, big or small, helps show these families they’re not alone. Then during the Block Party, join us for one of the available activities - packing all the donations into gift boxes to spread love to families who could use a little extra care.

You can also bring pull tabs from soda cans to the Start Here desk any weekend in August (or to the Block Party). Ronald McDonald House recycles them and it generates thousands of dollars for them.

Everyone's a winner on draft night! Compete in one of our fantasy leagues, so you have more ways to trash-talk at church. Win your own league for a prize or win the whole thing through our multi-league playoff bracket for an even better prize. In addition, all winners get bragging rights.

Registration is required by the end of the day on 8/24.

• You can draft remotely, but that doesn't change the $20 buy-in.

FOR 6th-12th GRADERS ONLY!

Wear white & be ready to get MESSY as our students face off in a variety of disgusting, colorful, backyard-style events. You will ruin your clothes. Goggles optional!

FYI, no food due to the paint (it would make it all taste so nasty), but come back on 9/7 @ 6-8 pm for pizza & great conversation!

On Thursday, August 14th, Discovery Students will be taking a day trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio!

Students will meet at Discovery Church at 7 am and arrive back at 11 pm. 

The trip will cost $100 and includes the following:

• charter bus transportation

• park admission ticket

• all day food and drink pass*

*The all day food and drink passes are only to be used at park food stands; independent stands such as Subway and Starbucks do not accept these passes. The meal pass can be used once every 90 minutes and drink refills can be used every 15 minutes.

Adult chaperones are needed and can sign up using this registration as well!

If you have a blue shirt from the trip last year, please wear it. While supplies last, we will give shirts to newbies too. Wear a blue shirt or tank top regardless, please!

The addition of the food and drink pass eliminates the need for students to bring cash on the trip. If they choose to, however, please note that Cedar Point is now cashless. Hang out with other awesome Middle Schoolers! Bring a snack or drink to share. We'll have pizza and play all kinds of games. 

Hang out with us at Grace & Luke Crawford's house. Bring chips or drinks. We'll have back yard games, pool games, pizza, fire, and a Moana 2 movie night! Starting at 6 pm, ending when we get kicked out (or the movie is over)!

If you didn't go to CIY MOVE, you're still welcome to come! A few weeks later, we'll take a moment to reflect on our experience at CIY, worship together, and keep each other accountable to the challenges and commitments we made.
