Located in the growing suburbs of Pittsburgh, Discovery Christian Church is a dynamic community of compassionate and authentic followers of Jesus. Our weekly gatherings host around 600 people, including 50-70 middle and high school students and 100+ birth through elementary kids. While many generations call our church home, our largest demographic comprises young families. This is a strategic area for investing in the upcoming generation. Our local school districts are ranked among the best in PA and host local sports teams that are consistently competing for titles.

MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Part time | 29 hrs per week
Organize events, coordinate volunteers, and help things run smoothly behind the scenes.
Event Host
Part time | hours vary
Support small and large banquet events by assisting with setup, food service, cleanup, and overall facility care before, during, and after events.
Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time and be able to lift tables,
chairs and trash bags.
Event Staff - Setup/Tear Down
Part time | hours vary
Set up and reset main Venue and public spaces according to layout plans, ensuring timely turnaround, and clear communication with the team
Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time and be able to lift tables,
chairs and trash bags.
NEXT GEN RESIDENT
Stipend, flexible hours, host home.
Some formal education in theology, teaching, or leadership.
Plan, teach, and lead weekly and occasional events in the Kids and Student Ministry.
