Your child is valuable to both God and our church. That is why we strive to have excellence in all that we do. We provide a safe, loving and inviting environment for children to learn the Word of God. We are a church of small groups, and this starts with our kids. Join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 or 11 AM.

When you arrive at your child’s classroom, one of our friendly team members will help check your child into their class. You and your child will receive personalized, coordinating ID tags unique to you, which you will show after the service in order to pick up your child. If this is your first time in Discovery Kids we will have you fill out a First Time Guest card asking things like known allergies for your child, how many children are in your family, as well as get your contact information.

Your child’s safety is of utmost concern while attending our classes. That is why all kids are assigned a security tag and number. This insures that your child will only be released to you or a designated adult you have chosen. This number will also help us to reach you during the service via a visual paging system, allowing you to experience the service without worry. All volunteers are highly-trained and screened with several background checks. Our classrooms are routinely patrolled by Discovery staff and volunteers.

We bring kid-inspired fun to every service and classroom through interactive games, hilariously smart video content and age appropriate lessons.

Our team is made up of people who want to share the love of Jesus with kids, and every Sunday they help bring excitement and enjoyment to your child’s church experience.

As a church, we are always investing in the next generation, and this starts with babies and kids. From praying over infants to sharing relevant Bible lessons with elementary kids, our goal is for each child to learn about the Bible and experience God’s presence weekly. This is most effective when kids are consistently in classes designed for their particular age division.

Parent Resources

At Discovery we believe if you’re a parent then you are a pastor. Discovery Kids is a partnership between the church and the parents. We believe that when we partner together your child will look more like Jesus than through our individual efforts. We want to combine the heart of the home with the light of the Church. We want to equip parents for that and that is what this section is for!

Studio252.tv is a fun, kid-focused website filled with cues to help families grow in faith and character. It offers resources to help families connect at strategic times of the day and reinforce key biblical concepts through music, videos and activities. It is designed by Orange, the curriculum we use at Discovery so it lines up great with what your kid is learning at Discovery.

We are so excited that you are considering baptism for your child! Every child can have a personal relationship with Jesus, and in Discovery Kids, we encourage them to talk to a parent about taking that step. As you discern if your child is ready to be baptized, we encourage you to attend one of our parent and child baptism classes. This class is held for two Sunday's during first service each spring and fall. It is designed for parents to attend with their child. This class will give parents the opportunity to look at what the Bible has to say about baptism with their child in a fun and creative environment. To find out the next child baptism class dates email Stacie.

We advise parents to wait until their child is asking to be baptized. This is usually a good indication that they are ready to be baptized and that it will be a spiritual milestone in their life. While children under the age of seven can have a relationship with Jesus, they will not necessarily remember or understand the significance of water baptism, so we encourage parents to wait for baptism until they are a little older.

Baby/Child Dedication is available for younger children to allow parents the privilege of deciding to raise their kids to love and honor Jesus Christ. For information on scheduling a dedication, email Stacie.
