One of the best ways to get connected - to your people, your purpose, and to Jesus - is by serving.

When you serve alongside others at Discovery, you help meet real needs - within the church, in our local community, and around the world. Whether you’re making someone feel welcome on a Sunday, helping kids feel safe and loved, or showing up for those in need, you’re part of something bigger.

You’re serving as the hands and feet of Jesus so that people are ready to hear His message of life to the full.

Where Can You Jump In?

There’s a place for everyone - whether you’re outgoing, behind-the-scenes, good with kids, tech-savy, or just ready to try something new.

 

Events Team

  • Lobby Host - Greet guests with a smile and help them feel at home.

  • Barista - Brew coffee and create a warm cafe vibe.

  • Setup/Tear Down - Help get spaces ready before or after events.

Guest Experience

  • Greeter - Welcome everyone with kindness and good vibes.

  • Barista - Serve up great coffee and great conversation.

  • Sign Language Interpreter - Help make our gatherings accessible.

 
 

Discovery Kids

  • *Check-In/Greeter - Help families get checked in smoothly.

  • *Nursery - Snuggle and care for our littlest ones.

  • *Special Needs Buddy - Be a friend and helper to a child who needs extra support.

  • *Event Helper - Set up, tear down, or assist during special kids’ events.

  • Weekday Admin Help - Support behind the scenes.

  • *Language Translator - Help bridge communication with families.

Discovery Students

  • *Events Helper - Be part of big moments like “One Big Nights”

  • *Weekly Setup/Check-In - Get things ready and welcome students.

  • Weekday Admin Help - Lend a hand during the week.

 
 

Worship & Creative Team

  • Photographer - Capture the moments.

  • Tech Team - Run lights, sound, or slides (no experience needed - we’ll train you!)

Groups Team

  • Event Host/Setup Help - Make group gatherings smooth and meaningful.

Operations Team

  • Building Helper - Care for indoor and outdoor spaces to create welcoming environments.

Discovery Partners

Discovery partners with organizations who are meeting real needs in our community and around the world. These partners offer unique ways to serve - from volunteering at a prom for adults with special needs to joining a mission trip to El Salvador.
