2017 was a rough year. Americans witnessed some staggering headlines that expose the raw core of who we are as human beings: how we treat and regard one other, how we view and respond to those who are different from us, and even how we view our own shortcomings. In this series we want to explore what we believe are the proper responses, as followers of Jesus, to several headlines from the past year. As usual, we promise to be sincere, direct and compassionate, letting the words of Jesus himself shape our responses and our hearts. Let’s start the new year by looking for ways to be more like Jesus.
