The Gospel According to Hustle

They promised us a new gospel: the harder you work, the more valuable you are. Our modern gods are self-starters and side-hustlers. So, we increased our activity and divided our attention. We blurred the lines between work and home, overbooked our schedules, and became addicted to the digital. But a life of purpose can never be found in constant movement. Jesus’ lasting impact came from his unique pace and presence. He wants to give us a better gospel in his unforced rhythms of grace.
