The Art of Giving Thanks
Giving thanks is way more than sitting around a holiday table full of starchy foods and stressed-out family and sharing one thing you are grateful for. Gratitude is an attitude that when developed and directed in the right direction it becomes a powerful weapon in our hands! The world is coming out swinging with haymakers 🥊 Materialism! 🥊 Debt! 🥊 Division! 🥊 Anxiety! In this series you’ll learn how to get your guard up and be ready to fight back. You’ll thank us later!

Money flows into our lives and flows out. When it does it always leaves a mark and shapes our heart for good or bad. How we use money is something Jesus talks more about than anything because it competes for the throne of our heart with God. We will look at Luke 12:13-34 and how misuse of money can lead to greed and the constant drive for more. When we follow God’s plan it leads to a grateful heart that exudes joy and contentment.

Everything belongs to God and we are called to be faithful with what He has given us to care for.

Jesus wants to bring peace through us rather than to us.

Gratitude can reorient our hearts. When we have the lens of gratitude we have the chance to improve our relationship with God and others, even in challenging circumstances.
