Something new is coming!

Starting on January 29th 2026, Discovery is launching a brand-new Thursday evening service at 6:45pm! Our two Sunday morning gatherings have been growing so much over the last couple of years, and after looking at different options for a third service time, we are really excited to open this new opportunity.

What to Expect:

Thursday services will be an hour long and have all the same great components of Sunday morning: worship, a practical message, and Discovery Kids (nursery-5th grade). As a special bonus, we will have dinner available for purchase from 5:45-6:45pm every Thursday so you can come straight from work or sports practice, and eat a delicious meal together with others from your church family. And of course we will have our cafe open for all your coffee needs (we just might brew a little more decaf!). The only difference is that it happens on Thursday night, which means your weekends can stay wide open.

What Next?

  1. Pray about making Thursday night your new service rhythm

  2. Invite a friend

  3. Mark your calendar for January 29th!

FAQ’S: Got Questions? We’ve got answers!

  • Yes! Kids birth-5th grade will be offered at all 3 weekly services. This will include the same worship, teaching, and kids’ programming.

  • The Thursday evening service will run from 6:45-7:45pm. This will be the first service of the weekend, which means what is taught on Thursday will then be taught on Sundays.

  • Doors will open at 5:30pm. A rotation of dinners from local restaurants will be available for purchase, and our Public Room will be transformed each week into a welcoming space to eat with your family and friends before service. Our cafe will also be open for coffee, smoothies, and other treats!

  • Yes! God isn’t concerned with what day of the week you gather to worship. He wants people to have the opportunities to be in church and grow in their faith, no matter the day. The early church in Acts met on the first day of the week AND throughout the week. Jesus also taught that where two or more are gather, His presence is there. So yes, it most definitely counts!

Why Thursdays?

We know weekends fill up quickly with travel sports, work, and everything else life throws at us. That is why we are especially excited about this new option. Whether you are a family always on the go, a traveling sports family, a realtor, a medical professional, a service worker with Sunday shifts, a family who enjoys their weekend lakehouse, or simply someone who likes keeping weekends free, Thursday nights at Discovery might be a perfect fit for you.
